THE DETANGLING BRUSH

Why it works

BENEFITS

  • Glides, never pulls

Flexible stainless-steel bristles work through knots from the ends up — wet from the shower or dry before bed.

  • Massages as it moves

Rounded bristle tips massage and stimulate the scalp with every pass.

  • A cleaner start

A daily brush-through removes buildup that can clog follicles and supports a healthy scalp environment.

  • Dries as fast as you do

The signature drainage hole lets water out, so the cushion stays fresh shower after shower.

WHERE IT FITS IN YOUR ROUTINE

Morning, before you tie it up. Evening, before the wash. One slow pass from ends to roots detangles, carries natural oils down the lengths, and leaves the scalp feeling awake.

THE EFFECT

Smoother lengths, a calmer scalp, and shine that lasts between washes.

HOW TO USE IT

THE DIFFERENCE

Plastic bristles stop at the knot. Steel goes all the way down.

Plastic snags and gives up. Nylon balls pop off and scratch. Stainless steel, done right, glides to the root and back and the cushion, the weight, the drainage hole are all tuned so the daily brush through becomes the part of the routine you keep.

FROM THE FOUNDER

We made the brush we couldn't find.

Fair questions

Fair questions
Will it hurt my scalp if I have fine hair?

The metal bristles are designed to glide, not dig. Hundreds of fine-haired customers say it feels gentler than the plastic detanglers they were using before. Use light pressure and let the brush do the work.

Can I use it in the shower?

Yes. The brush works on wet or dry hair. A drainage hole in the cushion lets water out so it doesn't sit and cause damage.

Will it cause breakage?

Used with normal pressure, the bristles glide through hair instead of pulling on it, which reduces breakage compared to plastic brushes that bend and snag. Work from the ends up on severe tangles. Don't force it.

Does it work on extensions?

Yes. It's safe on all hair types and extensions. Many of the stylists who recommend us use it specifically for brushing through extensions and color-treated hair.

How do I clean it?

Pull any hair off the cushion first. With no balls on the bristle tips, it lifts right off. For a deeper clean, add a drop of gentle shampoo to warm water, swish the bristles through, and let the drainage hole carry the water out so nothing pools in the cushion. Shake off the excess and lay it bristle-side down to air dry. Skip long soaks so the cushion stays intact.

Will the bristles fall out?

They're built to stay put. The bristles are 100% stainless steel, anchored into a durable cushion, and the brush holds its shape through years of daily use instead of shedding like cheaper brushes. Good to know: the drainage hole in the cushion is intentional and sometimes gets mistaken for a missing bristle, so if you spot a gap there, it's by design. If a bristle ever does work loose, email hello@glowbeautyhair.com and we'll take care of you.
