The Smoothing Brush

Dry clean your brush frequently by removing the loose hair and dust build-up. For best results, use a comb to rake the hair away from the cushion and lightly scrub anywhere dust has accumulated with a small cleaning brush (like a toothbrush). Store your Boar Bristle Brush in its accompanying dust bag.

Occasionally the brush will need a deeper cleaning. Start by dry cleaning the brush as explained above. Make a lather of lukewarm water and soapy water. Do not use detergents or strong chemicals. Dip a small cleaning brush into the suds and use it to scrub the bristles & pad of the Boar Bristle Brush. Dip the cleaning brush into clean rinsing water and work that through the bristles. Shake the Boar Bristle Brush to remove any water and leave it to dry with the bristles facing downward. 

Do not dry the bristles with a towel or hot tools.

+ Use the brush daily for best results in achieving smooth, healthy hair. This will also help reduce the amount of static that is created when using the brush.

+ Do not use heat directly on the bristles. 

+ Do not use strong chemicals or solvents on the brush.

+ Do not soak the brush.

+ If you have thin hair, we recommend avoiding using the brush on wet hair.
